Artwork Contests Policy

OFFICIAL ARTWORK CONTEST RULES ("Contest Rules")
No purchase necessary. The contest is open to artists worldwide, except employees of VANAS, its subsidiaries, affiliates, promotional agencies, and their immediate families. Entrants under the legal age of majority are eligible to win provided that the winning entrant's parent or legal guardian accepts the prize on their behalf.
Winners must collect the prize in person or via video conference, and present valid photo ID.
One prize per winner. Winners who have won in any contest organized by VANAS in the last 30 days are ineligible to enter.
Winners will be notified within 5 business days of the contest deadline.
The names of winners will be published after the contest ends.
By entering this contest, you give VANAS permission to publish your name and artwork on our website and social media platforms.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for this contest, an individual must:
(i) be a legal resident of any country, as we accept submissions from around the world.
(ii) have reached the age of majority in their province at the time of entry.
The contest is void where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER:
The contest begins when announced and closes at the deadline specified on the contest page ("Entry Period"). To enter, register first, and then submit your artwork via the online entry form. Submission of the artwork constitutes an "Entry." Only one entry per person. If a contest has multiple draws, each draw will be selected from all eligible entries. Only one prize will be awarded per entrant during the entire contest. Entries must be received no later than the end of the Entry Period. Entries must be submitted online and will not be accepted by any other means, including but not limited to postal mail.
WINNER SELECTION:
The winner will be selected based on the quality of their artwork. All eligible entries will be judged, and the entrant with the highest-quality submission will win the grand prize. Runner-up prizes will be awarded to additional top submissions. The odds of winning depend on the number and quality of the entries received.
The selected entrants will be notified via email or phone. The winner must prove they created the artwork to claim their prize. The winner must also demonstrate compliance with these contest rules. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected.
PRIZES:
Details of the prizes are listed on the contest entry form. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash. VANAS reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- While artist retains their copyrights, all electronic entries become the property of VANAS and will not be returned.
- Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the operation of this contest is a violation of law, and VANAS reserves the right to seek legal remedies.
- Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, or tampered with.
INDEMNIFICATION BY PARTICIPANTS:
By entering, each participant agrees to release and hold harmless VANAS and its affiliates, employees, and agents from any liability for any damages arising from participation in this contest or use of any prize awarded.
CONDUCT:
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules. Entrants also agree to accept the decisions of the judges as final. VANAS reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who is found to be tampering with the entry process or engaging in disruptive behavior.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
VANAS and its affiliates assume no responsibility for lost, late, or misdirected entries, notifications, or technical malfunctions that may affect the contest. In the event of a malfunction, VANAS reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest.
PRIVACY:
By entering, you agree to allow VANAS to use your personal information for the purpose of administering the contest. For more information on our privacy practices, refer to our privacy policy.
LAWS:
These rules are governed by the laws of Canada, British Columbia and subject to change without notice.
TERMINATION:
VANAS reserves the right to amend or terminate this contest at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
